Santa Clarita, Calif., July 8, 2015—Animal Behavior College (ABC) today announced that Steven Appelbaum, founder, president and CEO, will present three business-building educational seminars during the “Groomer SuperShow” at “SuperZoo 2015: The National Show for Pet RetailersTM.” SuperZoo, which is presented by the World Pet Association (WPA), opens July 21-23 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Las Vegas.

“The World Pet Association does an excellent job of staying in tune with pet industry innovations, challenges and needs,” said Appelbaum. “At SuperZoo, attendees can explore new products and services, keep up with industry trends through educational seminars and engage in myriad networking opportunities. It’s an event no pet industry professional will want to miss.”

The “Groomer SuperShow” is one of the trade show’s most popular educational venues. Attendees can watch grooming competitions, learn about the latest tools and innovations. In addition, a series of grooming and service industry seminars offer expert advice to help groomers remain competitive and profitable.

Appelbaum will present three seminars on basic dog training methods, building business relationships with dog trainers to increase profitability, and useful techniques groomers can teach their customers so they and their dogs have a more pleasant grooming experience.

“The demand for pet services such as grooming continues to increase, which has created an ideal situation for pet grooming professionals,” Appelbaum said. “While taking advantage of every learning and professional growth opportunity, groomers should also explore ways to add more value to their business offerings to increase their bottom lines,” Appelbaum said.

Appelbaum’s Service Industry Seminars:

Tuesday, July 21, 1:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m., Room Palm E
“A Lay Person’s Guide to Dog Training Methods”

Wednesday, July 22, 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m., Room Palm F
“Setting up Business Relationships with Dog Trainers to Maximize Profits”

Wednesday, July 22, 3:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m., Room Palm H
“Teach Your Customers How to Train Their Dogs to Like Being Groomed”

ABC will also host a booth (No.10023) in the event’s Exhibit Hall to encourage pet retailers and grooming salon owners to hire the college’s certified graduates, post vacancies on the school’s job’s board and even become mentors for one of the three programs—dog training, pet grooming and veterinary assisting.
