Libby Karssen has known from a young age that working with animals was her passion. Growing up in a small town in Iowa, Libby explored many dog related fields. She attended Animal Behavior College and became a certified dog trainer in 2016.
Since the completion of her dog training certification from the Animal Behavior College, Libby continued with a more in-depth apprenticeship under a 20 year professional dog trainer and behaviorist. Libby has enjoyed working at Colorado Dog Works since her Animal Behavior College Course, teaching obedience, nose work, behavior modification, private training, and more.
She believes that training should be a fun and rewarding experience for both dogs and their owners, whether you strive for a wonderful pet dog or a well trained working dog.
Libby is passionate in puppy training, obedience training, as well as clicker training and competition work for pet dogs and working dogs.
